WHAT IS VESTIBULAR NEURITIS WITH LABYRINTHITIS👂🏻🔔😵💫
Vestibular Neuritis and Labyrinthitis are closely related disorders.
Vestibular neuritis involves swelling of a branch of the vestibulocochlear nerve (the vestibular portion) that affects balance.
Labyrinthitis involves the swelling of both branches of the vestibulocochlear nerve (the vestibular portion and the cochlear portion) that affects balance and hearing.
The symptoms of labyrinthitis are the same as vestibular neuritis plus the additional symptoms of tinnitus (ringing in the ears).
There have been so many theories as to why I have developed this syndrome.
· Was it a Virus that infected my ear when I went to Aruba back in 2014?
· Could it have been from foreign waters?
· Was it the Scopolamine patch that I wore on the Aruba trip that was left on the back of my left ear for over a week?
· Could Scopolamine really cause that much Ototoxicity?
· Was it caused by antibiotic use as a baby?
· Tetracyclines?
· Was I born like this and I didn’t surface until later?
· Is My Vestibular disorder connected with my pelvic pain syndrome?
· Is it too RANDOM to have two rare complex neurological disorders?
· Is it too random that my pudendal nerve and nerves in my ear failed me at the same time? Is there correlation?
· Is it too random that I developed acute Fibromyalgia shortly after diagnosis?
Is there a possibility that all my conditions have a connection with one another?
