LIVING WITH CHRONIC PELVIC PAIN
I wanted to talk about the Pelvic Pain condition that I suffer from, because just like my Vestibular disorder it affects me every day. Luckily, I have my pelvic pain under control and well managed, but I still experience really bad flares from time to time.
There are so many different forms and causes of pelvic pain in both men and women.
I specifically suffer from Hypertonic Pelvic Floor Disorder and Vulvodynia Vestibulitis.
I STILL DO NOT have a true answer as to why I developed this disorder, however; I know my triggers now and how to manage it.
Getting to a proper diagnoses and treatment regime took a LONG TIME, A LOT OF MONEY, AND A SHIT LOAD OF SPECIALISTS.
I had never experienced pelvic pain symptoms before 6/26/2019.
That was the day that spiraled my life. I had acutely developed pelvic pain; it was severe and there was no answer as to why.
Going through that experience was life changing for me. I still suffer from the medical trauma that it caused.
Today I live with mild to moderate symptoms.
I manage my pelvic pain conditions with pelvic floor therapy, diet, and exercise.
Living with a neurological condition usually means living with multiple disorders. I don’t know if there an association between my pelvic pain and my vestibular disorder.
All I know is its pretty ironic if you ask me.
